What counts as a lower-priced country
This report calls a market lower-priced only in relation to the current converted category medians. It does not claim that every productivity app is cheaper there or that a visitor can purchase through that storefront.
The evidence docket lists the lowest qualifying medians first. Each country still needs at least three exact one-month productivity products, and the full ledger exposes both the observed range and sample size behind the summary.
Productivity is a broad working category
The category includes verified notes, writing, office, cloud storage and closely related productivity products. Their feature depth and audience differ, so the aggregate is most useful for understanding regional price architecture rather than judging product value.
An expensive professional writing plan and a lighter notes plan can both be valid observations. The median limits the influence of extremes, while the range keeps that diversity visible.
Separate local pricing from currency movement
A productivity plan's Apple price is the observed amount in local currency. The report converts qualifying observations to a common USD reference only so different country distributions can be ordered.
If an exchange rate moves while the local price remains unchanged, the market's position can change. That is a comparison effect, not a local discount, and it should not be copied into a price-history claim.
- Cite local amount, currency and Apple observation date.
- Describe the category rank as a converted estimate.
- Open the individual plan before generalizing from the median.
How developers can use the result
A developer can compare the current market shape with a proposed US monthly price, then inspect the country-level pairs behind the pricing worksheet. This is more informative than applying today's exchange rate to a single US number.
The result is still a reference, not an automatic recommendation. Taxes, product positioning, willingness to pay and Apple's available price points require a deliberate local decision.

Questions
Which country has the cheapest productivity apps?
The evidence docket shows the lowest current qualifying category median. It does not prove that every individual productivity plan is cheapest in that country.
Are free productivity apps included?
No. This benchmark covers verified recurring subscription products. A free download price is not treated as a subscription price.
Can currency movement change the order?
Yes. Converted medians can move even when all Apple local amounts remain unchanged.
