A yearly plan is its own product
This benchmark admits only products billed for exactly one year. It does not multiply monthly prices by 12 or convert quarterly and half-year products into annual equivalents. The commitment, discount structure and regional pricing decision belong to the yearly product itself.
Keeping that identity intact matters because an app can price its monthly and yearly tiers very differently across countries. A market that looks relatively low for the monthly product may sit near the middle for the yearly product.
What the country median can tell you
The country median describes the middle converted value among qualifying yearly AI plans. The observed range shows how far apart the lowest and highest samples are, and the plan count indicates how much evidence supports the aggregate.
A narrow range suggests the sampled products cluster around a similar annual level. A wide range can reflect different product bundles, premium tiers or regional strategies and should prompt plan-level inspection rather than a broad conclusion.
Annual savings need two exact observations
A yearly plan can be compared with the same app's monthly plan only after both exact products are identified. The useful calculation is the yearly charge versus 12 charges of that exact monthly product in the same country and currency.
A category-wide monthly median and category-wide yearly median may come from different plan sets. Dividing one by the other does not prove a typical annual discount, so this report does not publish that shortcut as a savings claim.
- Match app, plan family, country and local currency.
- Keep the actual yearly charge visible before any monthly equivalent.
- Exclude trials and introductory prices from the standard comparison.
Evidence can change without a new article
The docket above is generated from the current verified catalog rather than frozen into the article. New qualifying AI plans, updated local observations or newer exchange-rate evidence can change the sample, medians and ordering.
The evidence-through date records the freshest contributing Apple observation. For a citation, follow the yearly ledger into the relevant country or plan page and preserve the local amount, currency and observation date.

Questions
Do monthly plans multiplied by 12 enter the yearly benchmark?
No. Only stable products billed for exactly one year enter. Derived annualized monthly prices stay outside the yearly dataset.
Does a yearly median show the typical annual discount?
No. Measuring a discount requires matched monthly and yearly products from the same app, country and plan family.
Why can the yearly market order differ from monthly?
Developers can set separate regional relationships for each product, and the qualifying monthly and yearly samples may not contain the same apps.
