About the project
A price atlas, not a checkout
App Price Atlas is an independent reference for comparing the exact same App Store subscription product across countries. It is built around source evidence, stable product identity and explicit observation dates.
The problem we are solving
A free App download often tells you nothing about the recurring product people actually pay for. App Price Atlas identifies an Apple in-app purchase by its product ID, keeps monthly and yearly plans separate, and records the local catalog amount for each storefront.
The result is a comparison users can inspect rather than a single converted number with unclear provenance.
How the catalog is built
Popular subscription Apps are discovered and then admitted only after Apple returns a stable recurring-product identity. Country observations are stored with their source, retrieval time and verification state. Missing data remains unknown; it is never interpreted as free.
Read the methodology and Apple source record for the exact publication rules.
Independence
App Price Atlas is not affiliated with Apple or the Apps shown. It does not sell subscriptions, change an account region or promise that a displayed catalog price is available to every buyer. Taxes, payment methods, account region and eligibility can affect checkout.
